Beyond the Mat the movie

Beyond the Mat follows a group of wrestlers namely Aaron Miller, an adopted high school student trying to find himself and understand his place in society. The problem comes when his best friend Bo dropps down into his weight class in order to wrestle a nemisis who has been hauting both of the from an accross town team for years. In Beyond the Mat, Aaron must decide his own fate and find maturity in deciding how to handle his newly aquired issue. To make matters more difficult Aaron is also dating Bo's sister. In a startling turn of events Bo dies and Aaron must now deal with his feelings for his friend in a whole new light. In beyond the mat he must make amends with himself and take on the rival that Bo so wanted to face.

The drama culminates in an epic finale at the State Wrestling Championship where more than just pride is on the line. Beyond the Mat is a tale about two friends, a chronicle about growing up as a minority in America, a look into the intense world of high school wrestling, and at the forefront a story of a teen who overcomes self-doubt to find his true place in the world.
